My Name in Lights
Well maybe not in lights exactly but definitely on this poster!
I can't wait for March. Not only will the weather be warmer but, I'll be singing my socks off at Ayrtonfest 3.
February is all about rehearsals and we've got a great mix of covers and originals on the set list. That's me and my guitarist Bianca, who is awesome - classically trained and been playing for 12 years. Obviously much better than me on guitar but hey, I'm bringing the vocals ... and the sass.
The funny thing is, some of the covers I'm doing were on my son's set list when he was working around the Greek Islands on an entertainment contract - Blimey, that was over ten years ago now.
I remember the crowd pleasers from those days, so I'm including a couple on the list just to be on the safe side! Running through them at rehearsal is bringing back lots of sunshine memories for me and reminding me that time really does fly.
Most of all though, I'm looking forward to sharing my own songs, especially one or two that have not been released yet - that's just so exciting.
